Legend has it that in 1893, in La Palma del Condado (Andalusia, Spain), there came to light some kegs of brandy made –according to an inscription which they bore – for Antoine d'Orléans, Duke of Montpensier and son of King Louis Philippe I of France. Many of those kegs, whose residue serves as the mother for Luis Felipe brandy, are still kept at Rubio Wineries.
In Rubio Winery Spain, in conditions of silence and cool air, Luis Felipe brandy ages for 60 years. The “secret” has been handed down from each generation to the next in order to perpetuate its characteristics. To step in through the winery's doorway is to learn about the history of this spirit and the process which it follows until it becomes what it is, and to have a chance to taste it in the place where it is made.

Niebla has been a pivotal enclave in the history of Southern Spain, and its castle bears eloquent witness to this.
It's so well preserved that in Summer it forms the backdrop for a theatre and dance festival.
All year round, its rooms, chambers and dungeons, whose interior design is perfectly in keeping with the era, are a veritable mediaeval museum.
Once inside the castle you can visit the themed rooms which recreate past epochs - such as the Countess' Chamber, the Armoury or the very
Dungeons: two underground levels where over 30 instruments and machines of torture are exhibited.
Furthermore, from the Castle's turrets one can get a panoramic view of the River Tinto and the town.

• Niebla Castle is open everyday.
• Weekday opening times: 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
• Weekend and public holidays: 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
Oliveros Wineries was founded in 1940 by Juan Oliveros Perea. Three generations later, the Oliveros family is keeping up the tradition of making wine – white, red, sweet and generoso (fortified).
It has the only underground wine ageing chamber in the County.
• A guided tour of the wineries, with an explanation of their history and features.
• In the Tasting Room, tasting of a reserve wine vinegar.
• Sampling of 3 wines, accompanied by nuts.
• On their departure visitors will receive a bottle of wine in a carry case.
• The tour is available in Spanish and English.
• Available all year round.
• Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 18.00h.
• Times during summer (July and August): Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 15.00h.
• Visitors are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the visit start time.
• The duration of the visit is approximately half an hour.
• Discounted package price including accommodation & chosen board type with all the activities and tours described above.
• Transport to / from the hotel to/from activities & tours is not included.
• Full customer support is included to arrange and explain distances, meeting points, timetable and further information or advise to guarantee a wonderful stay.
Confirmation:
• This is an "On Request" booking, meaning that your card will not be charged until all the details of the booking have been checked by a member of staff.
• If for whatever reason the booking is not possible, you will be contacted to either change dates or cancel without charge.
Booking voucher:
• Once all the details of the booking are checked and confirmed your card will be charged and the booking vouchers issued to present on arrival at the hotel and at the different visits and tours.
Customer support:
• All addresses, contact information and times are displayed on the booking vouchers. Nevertheless once booked you will be assigned a personal trip advisor for any assistance you may require.
Payment terms:
• All bookings more than one month in advance with a total amount of more than 300€ qualify for a 50% downpayment on booking confirmation with the remaining 50% charged 2 weeks before arrival.
• For all other bookings (less than 30 days in advance and/or less than 300€, the full amount is charged once the booking details are confirmed.
